The Ancient Hardware is a community-driven, play-to-earn roleplaying game on the metaverse with an emphasis on a loot economy, creator rewards, derivatives, IRL events, asset-backed incentives and humanitarian efforts. The 10000 initial NFTs created will serve as membership tickets, our algorithm determines pricing and what loot is allocated to each character’s stash - through this list each character will be able to participate in item specific events, collect rewards for holding, access events in real life and recieve more NFTs. Our mission started when we identified a problem we wanted to solve in the creator industry - for too long have artists from humble beginnings had to adhere to strenuous financial conditions while trying to establish themselves. Our goal is to create a community driven system that pays artists for establishing a network of collaboration, discourse on and around establishing fair value all while creating an exquisite corpse around our creator economy that pays them for participating.

Lore

As lovers of Hip-Hop much of the art style is derived from Graffiti characters We’d see on passing trains growing up. As lovers of D&D we chose to pull our inspiration from a mixture of their literature, Alexander Pushkin’s poems and the literature of Liliane Nerette Louis. Our lore is derived from the perfect symbiosis of all these themes packaged in the TAH-NFT signature art style. This allows for an open-source lore building style where the communty can vote on what can and cannot be added to the metaverse.

Goblin Salvage Repo

Avatar Holders come here to sell forged & found items. Avatars may send their caravan advisors to sell items in this bustling underground Bazaar. The community decides what the best price is and with speculation comes opportunity. How many avatars a holder has determines the weight of their vote on issues having to do with the economic ecosystem of the kingdom. Musical items with exclusive soundtracks can be purchased here as well as asset-backed NFTs and NFTs with physical counterparts. After verified holders may use this market however they see fit for their party within realms of the lore.

Quests

Players must participate in the discord channel "main-quest" and in order to start their quest execute the command “start!” - after confirming which of their avatars they’d like to use (they will be sent an image of the map and a list of objectives) the a map and premise will be sent to the public chat to start the quest. As the collector sends the command “roll!” the quest will randomly progress. The avatar will add to their spoils as the quest progresses but more specific puzzles may arise where the collector will have to make decisions that make or break the character’s quest progression. If the collector wins they get to keep all the items they won as well as whatever the objective of the quest is to sell on the Goblin Salvage Repo or keep it as a trophy. If they lose all they get is a skeleton.

Stealth Launch + Mint Tickets

Being early observers of the NFT space we noticed early how important it is to ensure distribution of tokens is fair enough that enough art is available for everyone during launch. We adopt the (SL) model which utilizes mint tickets that serve as registrations that entitle the holder to the right to an avatar when it spawns. This avatar is theirs and will spawn in the hidden section of their Opensea profile. This is done for security and to guard against market manipulation. So effectually in order to mint a TAH-NFT one must buy a ticket like everyone else.
